Hello...recently I went to a gym with a friend for fun
I'm 16 and I had no previous weight lifting experience

I did 2-hand bicep curls, i couldn't remember exacty, but i could lift either 40 or 50 pounds 8 times
but when i bench press, i could only bench 10 pounds....
he told me that the bar prolly is around 40lb so my chest is only as strong as my biceps =(

its so embarrasing to be benching 2 little kiddie plates while the person next to me is pumping 200lb lol

what can i do to improve such weak chest?
i can only do 20 pushups in one set rofl

make sure when you train your chest you train it on its own.train your shoulders on their own as well, that should strenthen your upper body area.also dont be affraid to keep adding small weights to your press, your strength should soon start going up mate.hope that helps
