Trying to gain weight quickly - 9/11/2007 9:32:57 AM

I'm 6'3,141lbs and can't seem to gain any weight. I do have fast metablism but very low cast flow to buy food to eat all the time.I've been this size since I was 14 and now I'm 19. can someone tell me if there's a way to gain weight quickly.I've tried being lazy, eating everything in sight, sleeping all day and not exercising. but it seemed like I was loosing weight rather then gaining it. I don't know what to do...is there a drink or pill that I can take to gain weight?

You should take protein powders as I know bodybuilders often take a powdered form of protein, the essential building blocks for muscle. Protein powder is generally consumed immediately after exercising, or in place of a meal. Having sufficient protein intake allows for efficient growth and repair of muscle tissue. As I identify there are four kinds of protein powder:

Whey protein is the most commonly used type of protein. It contains high levels of all the essential amino acids not produced by the human body, and is absorbed by the body very quickly.

Casein protein is the richest in glutamine, an amino acid that aids in recovery, and has casomorphin which helps the body to absorb the amino acids over a long time.

Soy protein contains all essential amino acids, and is an alternative protein for vegetarians. Soybeans also contain isoflavones, a type of phytoestrogen, which have a weak estrogenic activity.

Egg white protein is a lactose- and dairy-free protein.

You can buy these proteins from any stores.
