 Just so you all know.
Your doctor can prescribe pills to enhance your appetite.
I wasn't working out at the time, and I don't think the pills I was given helped me, but I was also very depresses at that time, and I think the depression was stronger than the pills.

 I bought 3 bottles of this product and it did not work. they will not give refunds or answer emails about returning product. don't waste your money

 I bought 3 bottles, I had lots of food, rich in calories, I worked out and didn't work!!!!!!!,,, I am 6-4 and only 125 pounds, very healthy!... Do not buy it, i used to take 6 pills a day, 2 pills everytime before breakfast, lunch and dinner.

 Yea I bought a bottle of this vita salveo stuff and IT DID NOT WORK AT ALL!!
It might as well have been sawdust. My appetite didn't increase one ioata. As I have a poor appetite and I am desperate to gain mass I know more than the average person about appetite enhancing products and unfortunately it's not good news. Here are all the supplements I've tried that supposedly help to increase the appetite, they didn't help at all (okay that might not mean they won't work for you but I wouldn't count on it):


Ginger - Did nothing for me except burn the back of my throat
Fenugreek - Did nothing to increase my appetite
Gentian Lucia - I read a lot about this wonder herb, supposedly the bitterest substance known to man (it tastes like rank). Bitter herbs are supposed to stimulate the appetite. It's not known why but it has something to do with the stimulation of gastric juices. Of all the suplements I'd read about this was supposed to be the bees knees at increasing appetite. It didn't help mine at all. Might help you though, I don't know.
Milk Thistle - Ah! I'm not sure about this one. I know you bodybuilders use it because it helps protect your liver but I've read from various sources that it can increase the appetite because it contains a substance I've just started using this so the jury's still out. Don't hold your breath though.
Sublingual B12 shots. Hmmmm. Possibly marginal increase. But I was using shed loads and probably pissing out the equivalent amount. This supplement got me thinking abut injectable B12. Every forum I looked at most people who had injectable B12 said that it really worked at increasing appetite.
Vita Salveo - Actually touted as a weight gainer. It claims to tackle underweight issues by the root cause (check their website out). I was desperate by this time as I'd tried all of the above with no success. I even opened up a paypal account especially so I could buy it even though I was warned it was probably just sawdust. I finised the whole bottle and didn't notice any increase in my appetite at all!!

So there you have it. Sorry it's not good news. I really have tried everything. The only other thing that have been marginally effective is smelling certain spices or curry powder or onions. They make me salivate and make food slightly more appealing but don't generate the ravenous hunger that I crave.
The only thing I can think of, as mentioned above, is injectable B12. I've also heard that Equipoise is rather good :)
Hope this helps, sorry it's not good news though.

Ive been using vita salveo and please be warned that this product is not safe and has actually messed with my thyroid. AFter using this product i became spotty, tired, periods disapeared and insomnia, i later found out that the high content of iodine, and soy not to mention the other stuff had bad effects on my thyroid, however i did gain 6 pounds but it is not worth it.

 I ordered a bottled from them. When a month went by and didn't receive my order, I submitted a support ticket. I did get a response saying that they were temp. out of stock at the time I placed my order but they will send out my order right away. After another month goes by I requested my money back. I have never heard from them again. No one will respond to my support tickets nor refund my money. THIS COMPANY IS ONE BIG SCAM!!!

 let me tell u guys , i know it's pretty sad for us the skinnny guys ,because they just trying to sell crap ,they don't care about us ,they care about the money that's all about .The onlly way to gain weight naturally is when u change the way you are personality ,try to be relax ,not nervous , try to sleep after u eat something n etc

 I have a question from what i heard vitamin B12 suppose to increase your appetite, i want to know does it also slow down your metabolism becuz i have this friend and her cousin was very skinny and hard to gain weight, and she said that her doctor gave her a B12 shot and she started to pick up her weight so do B12 help your body absorb your food better so you can gain the weight? becuz i was thinking about this becuz i have a hard time gaining weight so if anyone have information on this please let me know i don't want to do anything stupid

 Definitely, this stuff is a joke. This article goes into it : Weight Gain Pills. Very clear that article is referring to Vito Salveo. I was thinking of buying it but it is true, when you compare the ingredients to a multi-vitamin, it is same stuff.

Probably those of you who had bad things happen is because it is cheap stuff and maybe contaminated. Those who had good things happen probably just had vitamin defencies and could have got better results with a simple multi-vitamin.

To gain weight you have got to just concentrate on eating a lot and working out. No shortcuts. Shakes and lifting have helped me to put on 8 pounds. Lot of info on that site I linked.

 I have owned the product for about a week now. It took about 2 weeks to get it delivered. But seriously, this product is amazing. I noticed results within 2 days. I used to eat 1-2 times a day, and now it's doubled with snacks in between. I take 3 a day and I have a very good appetite, and after 3 days, my friend lifted me and said he could tell I was heavier. I would advice all to get these pills. I have no side effects, and if taken with Thorne vitamins, it enhances the results dramatically. Good luck

 I'm an 18 year old female, 5'0" and skinny.

When I was 17 I ordered this product and also got a job where I was always on my feet. All I did was take the pills and then go to work for 10 hours. I gained a good 10 pounds, but I ate so much that I felt bloated a lot. I didn't like eating so much but I have never been heavier.

It made me go from 95lbs to about 103lbs give or take a few, and I was on it for 3 months.

I'm going through some relationship trauma, college issues, family issues etc and can't eat. I'm down to 88 pounds and now that everyone has got all these conspiracy theories of the product I'm weary of re-ordering it.

 O.k hi to everyone out there.

I myself have actually ordered and WAS using this pill. Unfortunately, as n most cases I did not see at all the results promised. I was not that surprised, cause most of these company's are all about making the money and are not exactly honest about their products.

 hi there i'm a 21yrs old female fr singapore.. i had a petite body frame n a bit skinny though but i'm obviously not flat chested.. i did try a milk product subscribed by a family doc called 'weight gain' n it work. it cost bout $50 SG dollars nw i wan ur suggestion on vita salveo.. i tot of gainin more weight faster
